Hina's Legacy is currently raising funds for PHASE 1 of building a sustainable facility, Hale Ola Paws.
With growing potential to become able to house rescued animals also to be the hub to house animals affected in natural disasters.
The goal is to create a sustainable shelter that helps to pay for its own rescue work, rather than only relying on donations. Lots of the money raise through the facility will go directly to the biggest expense: veterinary bills.
Here are just SOME of the services offered in Phase 1:
- Boarding/daycare
- Packages for general dog training
- Specialized training for aggressive animals
- Boarding for aggressive/reactive dogs - Owners need agree to 6-week training class (minimum) with specialty trainers
- Education center coordinated with the Department of Education for field trips
- Community Thrift store
- Hina's Legacy Merch store
- Bakery/Cafe (treats for humans and dogs)
- Cattery section for daycare & boarding
