I'm writing this on behalf of my sister, Alex, and my brother-in-law, Jared. This isn't something they ever imagined having to do, nor is it something they want to. For over a year, they've been trying to grow their family.

It’s been a long, emotional road filled with more waiting rooms, lab results, and heartbreaks than they can count. They've gone through both IUI and IVF — both unsuccessful. Despite this, they've picked themselves up, regrouped, and moved forward.

They're now preparing for another round of IVF — still hopeful, but more aware than ever of how hard this really is, emotionally and financially.

The truth is, IVF is expensive.

Each round of IVF costs approximately $15,000, with no guarantee of a positive outcome. Even with careful saving, the costs stack up quickly: medications, appointments, procedures, and follow-up care. The small amount that insurance covered is now long gone, and they've reached a point where they need support. Alex has delivered over 200 babies as a labor and delivery nurse, and both she and Jared have helped raise many kids. Now it's their turn to have their own family!
