Meet Paisley, a sweet eleven-year-old Labrador Retriever mix from Virginia who is facing a painful challenge—a soft tissue sarcoma of the right elbow. Paisley needs to have surgery to remove of the mass. Her surgery is estimated to cost $5,189.20. Paws 4 A Cure is providing a $300 grant, but her mom is trying to raise an additional $550 for the remainder of the funds that Paisley needs to move forward with the treatment.
Her loving mom has shared their heartfelt story, which you can read—along with more adorable photos—on Paisley’s fundraising page.
You can help make a life-changing difference for Paisley and her family by making a tax-deductible donation toward her veterinary care. Every dollar brings him closer to healing.
If you’re unable to donate, simply sharing her fundraising page helps spread the word and brings us closer to our goal.
Thank you for being a part of Paisley’s journey. Let’s give him the chance she deserves.
“Paisley is my 11 yr. old Labrador mix. Recently, I noticed a growth on her right elbow and followed up with my Vet February 13th 2026 and was told it was Soft Tissue Cell Sarcoma (Cancer Cell) and it needs to be surgically removed. The surgery took place March 12th and Paisley looked pitiful after the surgery but is recovering. I’m still waiting for results of the growth along if there will be more medical needs in the future.
She has always been a part of my life since 2014. She became my fur baby that I love waking up to every morning after I adopted her from a close friend. She is a constant joy that represents unconditional love and loyalty. She is my cherished fur baby that holds a special place in my heart.
As much as I wish I could cover this on my own, the cost is more than I can manage right now. The cost of her care along with the surgery has been overwhelming, and I have already paid significant portion out my pocket.
I would be grateful for assistance in continuing treatment for paisley. Your generosity will help the unconditional love and support I share with Paisley continue.”
