As many of you know, Dafydd and I are getting married at St Marys Church on June 20th. It’s a place that means so much to us, but the building is currently in urgent need of repairs to ensure it can stay open.
We know it’s a bit cheeky to ask, but If you’re able to spare even £1, it would mean the world to us and help make sure our ceremony can go ahead as planned.
Thank you for being part of our journey and future funerals/ weddings.
My history to the church:
The church has been in my family for generations, my great grandparents were the church wardens in the 60s, which was then passed onto my grandads sister.
My grandparents were married at the church back in 1968, my parents were married in 1991, and so did my Aunt she got married there in 2002.
Both my sister and myself were christened at the church in 1998 and 1999.
My grandad was recently buried at the church so are his parents and cousins with other family members.
