Before reading this, I want you to be happy for who you are and do what you want to do!

At the age of 25 being in a football grand final and four days later i was fighting for my life. I was fit and healthy and for some unknown reason that wasn’t enough. I woke up 4 days after that because of being in a coma. Unfortunately, the cause of this was a bilateral stroke (2 at once). Additionally, they still haven’t found a reason why I got it, I have to get another surgery to maybe find the reason (not guaranteed). Working full time as a teacher, being involved with sporting communities and that all got taken away from me.

The road has been tough, from organising lifts to doing so much paper work whilst trying to maintain my own house and not going on my dream holiday really sucked. I can’t thank my family and partner enough for their continued support. I would also like to donate to the Stroke Foundation so this condition can try to be resolved and the funds would help immensely. There is so much to it I would love to tell you.
