Meet Junior, a sweet twelve-year-old Domestic short hair cat from Connecticut who has Diabetes. His medical supplies and insulin are estimated to cost $339.27. Paws 4 A Cure is providing a $200 grant, but his mom and dad are trying to raise $1,000 to provide for multiple vet visits, medical supplies and insulin.
His loving mom and dad have shared their heartfelt story, which you can read—along with more adorable photos—on Junior’s fundraising page.
You can help make a life-changing difference for Junior and his family by making a tax-deductible donation toward his veterinary care. Every dollar brings him closer to healing.
If you’re unable to donate, simply sharing his fundraising page helps spread the word and brings us closer to our goal.
Thank you for being a part of Junior’s journey. Let’s give him the chance he deserves.
“Our cat Junior is a beloved member of our family since he was born to us in April of 2014.
Recently he was diagnosed with diabetes. While this condition may be relatively common in cats, the diagnosis has been devastating and overwhelming for our family.
Unfortunately we are facing financial challenges that make it difficult for us to afford the medication needed for the remainder of his life.
We are deeply distressed and overwhelmed by the circumstances. Junior holds an extraordinary place in our hearts, mind and soul. His presence has brought us such profound love and genuine joy, enriching our lives in ways that are both lasting and deeply meaningful. The laughter he brings to us, the respect and warmth that he brings to our family is immeasurable. We are so grateful for all the love he has given to us.
Junior has received a diagnosis however further treatment has not yet been possible due to this financial hardship.
While we are deeply grateful to Paws 4 A Cure for donating $200 towards his care this is just the beginning. Unfortunately, much more is needed to help provide treatment and ongoing care necessary to give Junior the life he so deserves. We would like to reach a goal of $1000 to provide for multiple vet visits, medical supplies and insulin.
We are sincerely grateful to all potential and past donors who have so graciously donated for their kindness, generosity and willingness to help during this very challenging time. Every donation brings hope and makes a meaningful difference.”
