Wildfires are becoming more frequent and more destructive each year. Early preparedness saves lives, protects homes, and preserves livelihoods. When communities are equipped with timely information and coordinated response efforts, the impact of these disasters can be significantly reduced.
Even if we are not directly in the path of a wildfire, we are all affected. Insurance premiums rise, supply chains are disrupted, and entire regions feel the economic consequences. Proactive preparation is not just a local issue—it is a shared responsibility.
I am raising funds to support Watch Duty, an organization doing phenomenal work in providing real-time wildfire information and critical updates to communities. Their efforts help people make informed decisions when it matters most. By equipping organizations like Watch Duty with the resources they need, we can manage these disasters more effectively and build stronger, more resilient communities together.
